A complete 2 week training program that is great for all new hires and anyone wanting to refresh. This class consists of a condensed version of the following classes. It includes, Foundational Finishing, Sculpting, Knowledge, Chemistry, Color Math, Application, and Texture.


Hands on

Foundational Finishing:


Learn a clean and simple systematic approach to finishing and styling hair.  Understand the how and why to finishing hair based on the texture and the desired outcome. Know when to flat wrap, bevel, and/or leaf, also when to use a vented brush, a
tension brush, or a round brush.

Foundational Sculpting:

Take haircutting to the next level with the foundation of shape.  Understand how and why to create shape both on the interior and perimeter of a haircut (round, square, and triangular). Truly mastering and understanding the three dimensions of hair sculpting, height, width, and depth.

Foundational knowledge

Chemistry

To be a professional in chemical services, one must understand how standard chemicals affect the hair.  Being knowledgeable with both chemistry and hair structure is something that most of us have lost after our schooling. Recap your skills around PH, amino acids, melanin, and more.


 

Color Math

Color math is better known as color theory, just more intense.  Learn how to choose the correct tones to enhance, intensify, or neutralize any level.  Know the difference between tone and level. Break down formulation to its primary colors of red, blue, and yellow.

Foundational Application

Learn how to speed up your color applications in a quick and systematic way.  Work with gel color application, cream color application, all over bleaching, and foil techniques.  Time is money, allow our team to show you how to make more money and how to create dimensional colors that will help keep your guests from going somewhere else or even worse…themselves.

Texture Change

This is a look and learn class working with texture.  A demo of how to work with permanent waving solutions and relaxers.  Learn how to utilize them in the salon to generate a new guest basis.  This is not the texture your grandma use to get or a blast from the 80’s past. Move forward and texturize the hair with skill and knowledge.
