Steps to get hired at Moxie Hair Salon

 

  1. Assistant and front desk.. (still in or almost done with beauty school to 1 year experience) Work and train with customer service, retail sales, foundational knowledge with color and cutting. Take guests once you are an assistant once a month.  1-2 year commitment before being able to move up to the Rising Star level. ($9 per hour)

  2. Rising Star Stylist ..(1 to2 years experience)  Working and training in the Training  level of the Salon receiving education from the Educations Leaders  through out the month.  Required to help assist all leading stylist, salon coordinators, and may work the front desk .  1-2 year commitment but able to move up to Master Stylist based on performance, education and reaching projected goals.  ($9.50 per hour or commission                                                                                                                     

  3. Master Stylist .. (3 years to 6 years of experience)  Stylist from another salon that can start as a Master Stylist.  All stylists are required go through the Moxie Education Program no matter how many years of experience.  Unless they can evaluate out with Stephen requires a full day of models (all evaluation models) ($10 per hour or commission)

  4. Highly Experienced Stylist (7 plus years of experience) Stylist from another salon that can start as a Master Stylist.  All stylists are required go through the Moxie Education Program no matter how many years of experience.  Unless they can evaluate out with Stephen requires a full day of models (all evaluation models) ($10 per hour or commission)

  5. Front Desk and Management (4 years degree of college required)  Work includes running the front desk, guest relations, staff management, social media, press relations, event planning, marketing.  (pay varies depending on level and skills)

  • Asked to do a technical interview with 2 models if applicable
  • Asked to a one on one interview.
